our activities revolve around mentoring young Africans across the continent. We work with young men and women involved in various economic and social activities in different sectors like agriculture, water & sanitation and innovation. The foundation has been self-supporting over the years, with support from friends and institutions of goodwill. When the Foundation was set up, we worked closely with the under privileged by donating books and education material across different communities in Africa. As the foundation grew, various partners came on board and this support helped transform the lives of young Kenyans and Africans at large as it enabled the foundation to engage in sustainable projects directly impacted the communities.

The PLO Lumumba Foundation has representatives in 38 countries across the continent and volunteers are involved in various activities that allow the communities to connect with the Foundation through these activities. The Foundation is committed to transforming African leadership through its mentorship programs through working with the African Youth in Africa and the Diaspora.
